Alexa’s vision for good design involves experimentation rooted in practicality. She has a knack for getting to the heart of what a client wants, then opening her mind (and theirs) to possibilities not considered. The result? Designs that are fresh, clear, effective, and highly creative. She brings this sensibility to her work at Thinkso, where she focuses primarily on designing and implementing identity systems across print and digital media.
Her past experience spans the breadth of design: printmaking, book design, product development, marketing collateral design, promotional signage, environmental graphic prototyping and development, model building, window display design, and photo retouching. Prior to Thinkso, Alexa spent several years at the French Institute Alliance Française where she designed posters, brochures, festival signage, and print and web advertisements.
A native New Yorker, Alexa is a graduate of Parsons School for Design, with a BFA in communication design. In her down time she loves to draw (especially with crayons), and on warm summer days can be found riding certain mass transit routes just for the views: the A train to Rockaway, the D train to Coney Island, and back and forth on the Staten Island Ferry.
