Marylou Lalu

A witty Belgian native who speaks three languages, Marylou brings a can-do attitude, a keen attention to detail, and a vivid wardrobe to her work coordinating projects and clients at Thinkso. Her experience across media — from print and packaging to digital to events — allows her to pivot easily and think strategically for her clients.

Before Thinkso, Marylou was an associated integrated producer at healthcare agency Area 23, where she oversaw projects and budgets, and led daily department-wide status meetings. She began her career as an intern at agency behemoth TBWA, where she was quickly promoted to senior project coordinator during her three-year tenure. At TBWA, Marylou worked with clients that included Standard Chartered Bank and McDonald’s and spearheaded a mentorship program for women. Her initiative caught the eye of senior executives, who tapped her for an emerging leaders workshop.

Marylou holds a BA in communication arts from Marymount Manhattan College. When she’s not working or exploring new restaurants and music venues, she’s running in the park, taking ballet classes or hanging with her cat, Lady Willow, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
