As a senior strategist and writer at Thinkso, Pete works with our clients from the development of market positioning through implementation, ensuring the strategy comes to life in the editorial and integrated creative. But his passion for crafting compelling stories is literally in his DNA: Pete’s mother and father were an editor and a novelist/screenwriter, respectively.
Before joining Thinkso, Pete worked as a writer, editor, and creative strategist for more than two decades, including the past four years as a creative copywriter at Bloomberg and another five as an editorial director and creative strategist at Interbrand. He has also worked for Prophet, Time Inc., UNICEF, Grey, and McCann Erickson. His deep experience in all aspects of writing, storytelling, messaging, and voice — both in his professional life and as an essayist, songwriter, and blogger — enables him to balance the strategic and creative considerations inherent in every project. His longtime client relationships have included B-to-B, financial services, banking, retail, media, tech, and hospitality. At Thinkso, it all informs his dedication to partnering with our clients, helping them dig deeper and go further than they could alone.
Pete worked his way through college by writing marketing collateral at Sony Music. He earned an MA in American cultural history from Rutgers University and a BA in political science from Hunter College (CUNY). As a dedicated Dad and part-time singer/songwriter, when he is not helping clients achieve their goals, you can find Pete at home in bucolic South Orange, New Jersey — writing songs at his kitchen table over a cup of black coffee, playing baseball with his son in the yard, or discussing politics, art, and history with his daughter.
