Instinet’s 50th anniversary graphic novel wins silver Stevie
Thinkso is proud to be recognized with Instinet as a 2020 American Business Awards® winner for our work commemorating the firm’s 50th anniversary. Founded in 1969, Instinet invented electronic stock trading, and spent the next half century setting the pace for innovation in the industry. When it was time to tell the history of the “original fintech,” we chose an equally innovative way to do it. Pushing the boundaries of the typical corporate anniversary report, we reimagined Instinet’s story as a graphic novel, tapping six artists to bring to life the visionaries, characters, and public figures of each of the company’s five decades. The graphic novel perfectly captured the sense of invention and wonder of a restless innovator — and the Stevie Award judges at this year’s American Business Awards agreed.
