With more than a decade of experience as a strategist, writer, and creative director across industries and sectors, Alissa loves transforming nebulous challenges into actionable strategies and compelling content that drive results.
At Thinkso, Alissa approaches projects with curiosity, creativity, and playfulness, inspiring teammates and clients alike. Whether she’s crafting a CSR report for a national mortgage lender or a paid social campaign for a wealth advisory firm, she finds the perfect angle that can cut through the clutter — and stick in customers’ hearts and minds.
Before joining Thinkso, Alissa worked both in-house and agency-side with leading brands including Oracle Marketing Cloud, Amazon, American Express, Nordstrom, Credit Karma, and Rocket Companies, as well as various small businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies. Armed with a generalist’s toolbox, she keeps the focus on thoughtful, high-impact storytelling.
A lifelong athlete (and middle child), she channels her persistence and collaborative spirit into her projects with clients, keeping a close eye on business goals and driving the team toward creative excellence along the way.
Alissa holds a BA in media communications from Taylor University. When she’s not supporting Thinkso’s clients, you can find her exploring the outdoors with her family in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
What’s with the coupe glass?
“It’s a Last Word, a cocktail with a geographic history that mirrors my own. It’s got this beautiful hue — the exact color of my walls as a kid, in every home we lived in — and is a fun, maximalist treat (equal parts of everything!) at dinner parties. It reminds me how objects, like brands, hold layers of meaning — and how these symbols and stories shape our identities and travel with us wherever we go.”
