A Population Council
The Population Council’s new website, designed by Thinkso, launched this week. The site’s dual purpose—a promotional vehicle showcasing their diverse body of work and a virtual research library—made the content strategy of the site quite a challenge. Nevertheless, we balanced the two objectives and delivered a site that is both vivid and engaging as well as a research workhorse. (We also redesigned their logo.)
Screening at Mount Sinai
Every year, an elite group of applicants is invited to interview at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Thinkso developed on-screen programming for the waiting room which included writing and designing a seven-minute video as well as creating title screens for various presentations that take place during the course of the day. View it here.
Martine Smidt Identity
Thinkso recently designed and wrote an identity and marketing collateral for Martine Smidt, an executive coach, as she launched her own private practice. Drawing inspiration from a fletching, the arrow end that guides it toward its target, the modern, meaningful identity captures her sophisticated, straightforward style.
KCG Annual Report: Trade Up
We developed an overarching theme for the annual report—”Trade up”—as a direct reference to KCG’s core business areas and a spin on the popular phrase about trading in old models for smarter, newer, more modern options. The different collateral pieces contribute to the overall theme (e.g., the microsite has a unique upward scrolling feature), and in concert, put a strong message out to the world: that KCG is not only a new business model for the industry, but also a complete departure, personality-wise, from traditional trading firms.
