With more than 30 years’ experience, Elizabeth excels at balancing the functional needs of her clients while producing creative, effective communications. Her unique combination of design education, strategy and editorial experience, and project management skills has yielded successful programs for clients in a variety of sectors, ranging from financial services to education to ecommerce.
One of the founders of Thinkso, Elizabeth oversees the firm’s strategy and editorial disciplines, and specializes in the financial and legal services sectors with clients that include J.P. Morgan, BNY Mellon, UBS, Morgan Stanley, Blackstone, Instinet, Cadwalader, Bernstein Shur, and LCH.Clearnet. She has also headed a large-scale brand refresh for technology consultancy Mindtree and the rebranding of WineDirect. Passionate about feminist initiatives and charitable missions, she has led projects for nonprofits and social businesses such as the Population Council, Monumental Women, On-Ramps, and Kate Tempesta’s Urban Golf Academy.
Prior to Thinkso, Elizabeth was a project director and strategist at Carbone Smolan Agency for six years. There she ran the Morgan Stanley account and led the rebranding of four AmLaw 100 firms, among other projects. Her previous positions also include manager of design for TIAA-CREF’s corporate communications, and an art director at Deutsche Bank. She started her career as a designer at a Wall Street marketing firm.
Elizabeth is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of California, Davis where she received a BS in design. When not in Thinkso’s virtual studio, she’s making something in New York’s Catskill Mountains, where she lives with her husband, daughter, and dogs.
